- How to obtain Security Protection from TTRM?
What is Risk Management?
Risk management is the process of identifying, assessing, and controlling threats to an organisation’s capital and earnings. By implementing a risk management plan with TTRM and considering the various potential risks or events before they occur, an organisation can save money and protect their future. This is because a robust risk management plan will help a company establish procedures to avoid potential threats, minimise their impact should they occur, and cope with the results. This ability to understand and control risk enables organisations to be more confident in their business decisions.
What is a Threat Analysis?
A Threat Analysis details all the potential security problems around a property. TTRM assists clients in drawing up a detailed risk analysis and offering feasible protection solutions to counter these risks. This is because we have an eye for potential threats that criminals tend to capitalise on.
Why should ‘Security Guarding’ be considered an essential service?
Today, Security Guards are pivotal in ensuring businesses remain safe. Additionally, Security Guards can offer protection and visual deterrence to potential criminals who are targeting specific facilities. Every company has some degree of security measure in place, whether that be a Security Guard; CCTV; fencing; or a simple door lock. Securing your assets and property with TTRM is of huge importance in obtaining peace of mind.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities of a TTRM Security Guard?
Their toles and responsibilities span the following activities: Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling properties; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; and monitoring and permitting entry access (through informing violators of policies and procedures in place for protection purposes or restraining unauthorised trespassers). Importantly, TTRM Security Guards act upon sounding alarms, to prevent loss and damage from occurring.
What type of background checks are performed on vetting TTRM Security Guards?
We conduct an extensive internal investigation, including the verification of prior employment experience; a nationwide database search into each TTRM applicant’s criminal background; and a criminal history fingerprint check, conducted by the SAPS.
What Certification do TTRM Security Guards need?
TTRM Security Guards need a Psira Certification. In short, PSIRA stands for the “Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority” and is the official organisation responsible for setting the standards for any security business in South Africa – whether you want to offer security services, or security products.
What is required to protect my home, complex, or business optimally?
Secure yourself, your family, your staff, and your premises through setting up Access Control and Perimeter mechanisms.
